Daniel Pfadt is a subject matter expert in the sourcing, supply and sustainment of microelectronics, having worked in the U.S. Government and private industry across three decades. His experience includes roles as the Deputy Director of the CHIPS Coordination Cell (C3) in OUSD(A&S/IBP) and as a core member of the DEDPSECDEF chartered OUSD(A&S) and OUSD(R&E) Defense Microelectronics Cross-Functional Team (DMCFT). Mr. Pfadt helped develop the overall microelectronics strategy for the Defense Department and managed the DOD’s C3 team coordination of national security reviews of the Commerce Departments prioritized CHIPS Act Notice of Funding Opportunities (NOFO) applications. Mr. Pfadt has also held roles as a microelectronics category manager at IBM, Ericsson, Sony Ericsson, Accenture (Blackberry) and Tesla Motors.
Mr. Pfadt holds a master’s degree in operations research, from George Mason University and a bachelor’s degree in quantitative business Analysis from the Pennsylvania State University. He has been certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.).
