Dr. Greg Van Dyk’s distinguished career encompasses research and development, program management, and international collaborations in both national security and fusion energy. He holds a PhD in nuclear engineering, with expertise in computational and experimental research.
At the Department of Energy, he led an office overseeing over $200 million in annual R&D across three national laboratories. He then managed two multi-billion-dollar Acquisition Category 1 programs, transitioning one into production. As Chief Scientist for one of the largest acquisition programs in the Department of Defense, he engaged R&D organizations across the US government to deliver next generation capabilities to US war fighters. In the U.K., he directed joint research with the U.K. Ministry of Defence and the U.S. Air Force, engaging in national security, fusion energy and space propulsion initiatives. Dr. Van Dyk is dedicated to delivering fusion technologies for national security and energy industries.
